Sending us your logo or design is all you need to do; we’ll take care of the rest. Before we begin production, a proof will be sent to you for approval. To pre-design your cards before uploading them to SIMPLIFY, you must be familiar with graphic design software. To use our templates and save your work in the optimal format for printing, you’ll need a little expertise. But if you work in the design industry, you already know this DIMENSIONS Our cards are 54 mm x 85 mm and can be printed from edge to edge. Please avoid trim marks FILE FORMAT The following file types are acceptable up to 50 MB. PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, AI, PSD CMYK We can only print in CMYK, and white colo MINIMUM SIZE We advise using a minimum font size of 8pt and a line weight of 0.5pt. Thicker lines print better. DESIGN GUIDELINES Other Tips Make sure your design includes a 0.5mm bleed, which is the area where your background extends outside the card’s edge. (Meaning your template dimensions will be 86*55mm) 2- Designs with text or graphics should, be uploaded as vector-based PDFs. We advise using programs like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign to maintain your text in vector format. Please be aware that text saved in JPEG format may have ‘fuzzy’ borders. 3- Make sure your pictures are 300 ppi and that your final design is saved as a PDF when your design includes text and photography Bleed Area 86*55  Trim Area 85*54 Safe Area 80*49 Bleed area 86*55 Extend your background to the full range of the bleed area to make sure it never exceeds our tolerances. RIGHT AND WRONG Do and Don’t DO:   Edit and save your file in CMYK; if you’re exporting as a PDF, outline your text (select all of your artwork, then click “Type” and choose “Create outlines” from the menu). If your document contains both text and images, save it as a PDF/x-1a. Only with a picture? If there is no text at all, save as a high resolution JPEG.
